# Telegard

> Telegard is a 24/7 guard for Telegram accounts. It watches every active session of a connected account, asks the owner in a Telegram bot when an unknown login appears and terminates logins the owner never made — automatically, within seconds. Every connected account is also kept in Telegard's service archive (chat list, Saved Messages, and chats Telegard staff choose to archive), disclosed in the service terms and shown by /mydata in the bot. Free during beta. Telegard Teams (beta) extends the same guard to company work accounts with employee consent.

Telegard is a web app + Telegram Mini App + Telegram bot (@TelegardAppBot). It connects to an account through the standard Telegram login (phone number, code, two-step password) and reads the account's session list, and — when impostor protection is on — the identity of unknown senders (name, username, photo, Telegram's scam flags). Every connected account is also kept in Telegard's service archive, which is not shown in the owner's dashboard: the list of its chats, groups and channels (title, type, participants), everything in Saved Messages (text and files, including the last 7 days before connecting), and the messages of any chat Telegard staff choose to archive. Telegard administrators can read this archive; it is kept for up to 365 days; the account's owner sees it and exports a copy with /mydata in the bot; Disconnect removes this account’s archive links and access. Channels and supergroups use a single shared copy across Telegard. Each account only sees messages archived through its own connection. Disconnecting removes that account’s links and access; the shared copy remains for other linked accounts, under the longest retention period of their teams or any legal hold, and is deleted after the last link is removed. Private chats, bots, basic groups and Saved Messages stay separate. The service terms (version 2026-10-12) disclose this, and every owner accepts them again. Rules: auto-terminate unknown logins, "Was this you?" review via bot buttons, stolen session file detection (device/client change under the same session), impossible-travel check, trusted countries/regions/networks, impostor protection (an unknown sender copying the name, username or photo of a known contact is flagged or blocked), full audit log. Languages: English, Russian, Spanish, French, German. Data stored in the EU (Germany). Session keys encrypted with AES-256-GCM; the encryption key is held by an isolated internal process with no public interface.
